Inspired by the quiet rhythm of nature, this river stone wall installation brings a sense of balance and stillness into the space it inhabits. Each form is organically shaped, echoing stones smoothed over time by flowing water, while the overall composition feels effortless and intentional.

Materials & Craftsmanship

Each river stone is individually crafted from a curated selection of domestic and exotic hardwoods, chosen for their natural beauty, durability, and character. Species include black walnut, cherry, white ash, white oak, beech, maple, along with select exotic woods that introduce subtle variation and depth.

Every piece is meticulously hand carved, shaped, and refined by hand—no two stones are ever alike. Multiple coats of plant-based oil finishes are carefully applied, allowing the wood to absorb the finish slowly and naturally. This process enhances the grain and tone of each species, creating a rich, dimensional depth while maintaining a soft, natural feel.

Designed with longevity in mind, the finish requires no ongoing maintenance and is highly durable in commercial and residential environments. Each stone is polished to an ultra-smooth surface, making it effortless to clean and pleasant to the touch.

Design & Installation Process

Every installation is custom designed specifically for your space. Once dimensions, wall conditions, and reference photos are provided, I work closely with you to develop a layout that feels balanced, organic, and intentional. A digital mockup is created and photoshopped directly onto your space, giving you a clear visual of the final composition before production begins.

To ensure a seamless installation experience, each stone is equipped with a custom interlocking hanging buckle mounted discreetly on the back—completely hidden from view. These hardware elements determine the exact orientation of each piece, ensuring the layout remains true to the approved design.

Your installation package includes:

• A full-scale folded paper template marking the precise placement of every stone

• Numbered stones corresponding to the template

• All required mounting hardware

• A step-by-step installation video for clear, stress-free setup

The result is a straightforward installation process that delivers a gallery-level outcome—allowing the artwork to feel effortlessly placed, as if it has always belonged there.
